Sandhurst Britains are standing up against a proposed mosque that would include two 100 foot minarets. As they should.
This has little to do with freedom of religion. Freedom of religion does not include the freedom to dominate or bully or, in the Sandhurst case, endanger the security of a military academy. And remember that, as I and others have pointed out, mosques and minarets are not the equivalent of churches and steeples, but are much more domineering in purpose.
Even other Muslims see the proposed mosque as a provocation and are opposing it. Now will the authorities have spine to say no to more imperialistic Muslims?
