Abomination of the Week
The Celebrant did his best to follow the godly example of the Presiding Bishop and ignore the vomit on the frontal.
Thanks to Bad Vestments for bringing this to our attention . . . I think.

That bit of 'art' is a pluperfect (plus quam perfectum) altarpiece for the kingdom of the world/flesh/devil in that it symbolizes and depicts the chaos, lawlessness, instability, destruction that is characteristic of that kingdom quite well.

I wonder what they are hiding behind that screen? Could it be an altar to God?
is the abomination the "art" on the front of the altar, or is the abomination actually schori? i would go with the latter...
