Islamic Decapitation Attack in Nice, France Linked to All Saints Day

Something that is not getting much attention about the Islamic decapitation attack in Notre Dame Church in Nice, France.  It may have been timed to coincide with All Saints Day:

…Several local priests are saying that they were warned about the possibility of an attack days ago.

The timing, they say, is intended to coincide with the Catholic All Saint's Day holiday on Nov. 1. Some in terror circles are making a connection between the Day of the Dead and killing non-believers.

Also, according to eyewitness reports, the attack unfolded inside the church, during morning services, in full view of the priest and clergy. At least two of the three victims were killed inside the church.

Priests said they received threats in the days before the attack.

"We had been warned for two or three days that there might be some additional attacks with the approach of All Saints' Day, since some made a link with the Christian feast of the dead and the fact of increasing the number of dead."

So this year, I will be celebrating All Saints Day with that much more gusto.

And, yes, I may be armed.

Anti-Semitic Incidents Up in UK

I’ve noted here the revival of anti-semitism in the West.  So it is with sadness that I see there continues to be a marked increase of anti-semitic incidents in the UK:

CST has today published our 2018 Antisemitic Incidents Report, which shows that CST recorded a record high total of 1,652 antisemitic incidents in the UK last year. 2018 was the third year in a row that CST has recorded a record high incident total and means the problem of rising antisemitism in our country continues to grow.

Multiculturalism Kills

Multiculturalism, the delusion that all cultures are more or less morally equivalent and are to be welcomed, has once again been proven a deadly delusion.

My prayers are with the victims of the Westminster terrorist attack and with their friends and families.

Islamonazi Leader Behind Women’s March

There is so much I could say about the Lamentation of the Womyn that occurred on Saturday.  I guess that is an expected ritual of victory…

But the participants in Leftist protest and their actions continue to be disturbing.  Let there be misunderstanding, peaceful protest should be and is protected in America.  But we should be aware of what protesters say and do, and protest and protect ourselves when appropriate.

A particularly disturbing aspect of the Women’s March was their partnership with Islamonazis, who are hardly pro-woman and are definitely anti-freedom among other things.  Organizer Linda Sarsour is a case in point (And it should be said she was one of the organizers.  The headline at the link is not currently well written.):

An outspoken critic of Israel, Sarsour avvidly supports the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) movement, a Hamas-inspired initiative that uses various forms of public protest, economic pressure, and lawsuits to advance the Hamas agenda of permanently destroying Israel as a Jewish nation-state. 

Vis-a-vis the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict, Sarsour favors a one-state solution where an Arab majority and a Jewish minority would live together within the borders of a single country. She made clear her opposition to Israel's existence as a Jewish state when she tweeted in October 2012 that “nothing is creepier than Zionism.”

In 2004, Sarsour acknowledged that a friend of hers as well as a cousin were both serving long sentences in Israeli jails because of their efforts to recruit jihadists to murder Jews. Moreover, she revealed that her brother-in-law was serving a 12-year prison term because of his affiliation with Hamas.

Trust me, there is more.

And, trust me – no, heck, look for yourselves – there is far more danger, violence, and, yes, bigotry from the Left in America than from the Right.  To protect ourselves, we must defeat the Left again and again and again.

Why Mass Muslim Immigration to the West Must Be Stopped, Illustrated

Those who advocate for cramming yet more Muslim immigrants and “refugees” down the throats of the U. S. and of European countries would have us think the overwhelming majority of immigrant Muslims are good people.

Oh really?  Such a sentiment, of course, begs the question of whether bringing in all those wonderful Muslims is worth letting in a few hundred more jihadis.  But I seriously doubt whether even a majority of Muslims invading immigrating to the West are decent people.  Yes, I said it.  The following video illustrates why I say it.

At a match in Turkey, there was a moment of silence for the victims of the Paris attacks.  That may be seen when the players and referees gather around the circle.

Or at least there was supposed to be a moment of silence.  Jeers and chants of “Allahu Akbar” rang through the stadium, and not just from a few yahoos.  Watch it for yourself.

Now this is in Turkey, one of those “moderate” Muslim countries.  Turkey even has a history of secularism, at least until recent years.  Some of the insane even want to bring Turkey into the EU.  Yet a large number of those who went to this soccer match are such cretins that they loudly jeer and even shout over a moment of silence of victims of Islamic terror.

Now most of those doing the shouting would not appear on a terror watch list.  If they tried to immigrate to the West there would be no indications they are sympathetic to Islamist terrorism.  Yet they clearly are.  At the very least, they do not share Western standards of decency.

It may be shocking, but it should not surprise.  Islam contains the seeds of these attitudes.  Islam from the very beginning is a religion which blesses killing and subjugating non-Muslims.  That is exactly how Islam spread in the first place.  Early Christianity spread in the face of being killed.  Early Islam spread by killing.  (Not so early Islam as well.)  This is not disputable.  Inconvenient as it may be, it is basic history.

Most American Muslims may have completely outgrown that history and those attitudes.  But non-Western Muslims?  Not so much.  Sure, some have.  Maybe, perhaps, barely (though I doubt it), most. 

But how the heck are we to keep out the bad Muslims while letting in tens of thousands of the more enlightened Muslims?  Do we have a brain scan which detects jihadi and anti-Western attitudes?  Again, most of those who jeered in that stadium would be welcome to travel or even immigrate to the West.

Obama, Hillary, yes, Jeb!, too, Merkel etc. are wrong, dead wrong, to inflict hoards of non-Western Muslim “refugees” on the West.  Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were wrong, dead wrong, to import Muslims to shore up the Labour Party.  And the victims of the Paris attacks are only part of the dead. 

We need to – we must – stop fooling ourselves.  Non-Western Muslims as a whole are not compatible with Western values and freedom.  The vile nature of Islam ensures that.  As a whole, they should be kept out.

But they won’t be kept out.  I intend to comment on some of the possible consequences before week’s end.

Pope Recognizes Armenian Genocide, While Obama . . .

Sunday, Pope Francis called the torture and slaughter of Armenians by Ottoman Turks in 1915 “the first genocide of the 20^th Century” and called upon the international community to recognize it as such.

Predictably, the government of Turkey, which has a long and despicable  history of denial, had a temper tantrum and withdrew its ambassador to the Vatican.

I first became interested in this awful chapter in history and Turkey’s denial of it when I read this excellent (but disturbing) article in the Daily Mail back in 2007.  And let there be no mistake, this genocide contained a strong component of Muslim persecution of Christians.

Guess which side Obama is on in this controversy?  Oh, he told Armenians he would call this genocide a genocide when he wanted their votes.  But since then and now? Not so much.

Obama Administration Again Ignores Persecution of Christians

When ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab, and other Islamonazis massacre Christians because they are Christians, why cannot the Obama Regime bring itself to acknowledge it?

Just as they did when ISIS beheaded 22 Coptic Christians in Libya, Obama and his hacks are ignoring that the Garissa University attack by al-Shabaab systematically targeted Christians.

This repeated and willful omission by Obama and his regime is despicable and un-American to the core.

Also note that the Regime also goes to pains to label the Islamonazis as “violent extremists.”  Considering that Obama and his Brown Shirts oft label his opponents as “extremists” should send a chill down one’s spine.

In Obama’s world, Christians are never victims, and “extremists” are always the bad guys.  Note and prepare.

Obscuring Evil

After 9-11, I was appalled by those who were eager to blame the act on us, on U. S. literally, as if we had done something to deserve it.  (Actually, we helped Osama Bin Laden against the Soviets in Afghanistan.  Some thanks we got.)  Instead of denouncing the utter evil of the terrorists, some, particularly callow youth, were eager to make excuses for them and to blame America.  And I saw this attitude even from people who were not particularly radical.

The episode was an eye-opener for me how wedded some are to moral equivalence to the point that that they would makes excuses for the perpetrators and blame the victims even in the case of 9-11.

Fast forward to now, and this crowd is in charge of the White House. And in even in the face of the pure evil of ISIS, they are reluctant to call evil by its name.  Their language instead obscures evil when it distracts from today’s evil from Islamonazis by pointing to alleged past evil by Christians.  (BTW, does it concern that the Obama Administration is a bit eager to blame Christians, far more eager than they are to blame extremist Muslims?)  Not to mention blaming a lack of jobs.  Yes, a jobs fair is the answer to ISIS.

Some may think I am nitpicking diplomatic language.  But one does not have to read 1984 to know that a regime that uses language more to obscure than to explain is not healthy for a society. As Jonah Goldberg just said (during a really good rant, by the way), “Societies get themselves into trouble when language becomes a tool not for describing reality but concealing it.”

Yes, being diplomatic is usually the way to go in foreign affairs.  But one can be diplomatic without being delusional or deceptive.

May I suggest that calling out evil is better way to go?  Whatever happened to saying evil people do evil things because they are evil?

ISIS Helpfully Provides a Christian Military Illustration

No, I am not kidding about the headline.  No, I am not off my rocker . . . at least I do not think I am.  But, anyway, I read the following about ISIS, and a light bulb turned on inside my head.

ISIS leaders select foreign jihadists for suicide missions because they usually arrive in Syria with little or no battlefield experience and so have no military value.

According to one ISIS insider who fled the group, special training camps have been set up inside Syria which filter out foreigners with no military experience and prepare them for suicide operations. 

A security source who works with British Muslim communities on combating extremism told MailOnline that he had been made aware of a number of British fighters who had been unprepared for the reality of Syria: 

'The problem is that young British Muslims who go over to Syria thinking they will be treated like equal brothers by IS find out very quickly that they are being told to strap on suicide vets and prepare for Jannah [heaven]....it's hardly surprising that they have cold feet about these missions.'

One can imagine.  And indeed defections among those appointed to die are something of a problem for ISIS.

A source from inside Raqqa, the capital of the Islamic State in Syria, told Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently [an anti-ISIS group] that ISIS has set up road blocks and imposed strict security checks to stop suicide bombers abandoning their missions.

Summary execution awaits those who are caught.

I read this and almost immediately thought – is this not like joining Satan’s brigades?

Satan promises worldly glory.  Indeed, that is exactly what that fraud offered to Jesus as he fasted in the wilderness.  (Matthew 4: 8, 9)  He still offers worldly glamour as ISIS promises the glamour of fighting for a revolutionary cause . . . or is that a devolutionary cause?

And both Satan and ISIS promise rewards after this life as well. Satan fools people into thinking Hell is just a big party with the fun crowd. ISIS fools people into thinking suicide bombing results in 70 virgins.

Speaking of false advertising, both Satan and ISIS fool recruits into thinking they will be treated well, like “brothers.”  But once the recruits are in and enrolled, they are not treated well as all.  Their treatment is instead, well, Hellish.  That is how Evil operates.

And neither Satan nor ISIS like defectors either and will stop them and kill them if they can.

The armies of evil attract the foolish with marked success.  But the end results for the fools are not so attractive.

There is a way that seems right to a man,

Thanks be to God there is a better army to join.  But that will have to wait for another post.

Pope Francis Attacks Free Speech and Conservative RC Bloggers Are… Silent?

After Pope Francis’ comments which attacked free speech, practically blaming free speech for the Paris Islamonazi terrorist attacks, I thought any minute now the conservative popish bloggers will be chiming in with their usual excuses for Francis – he was misunderstood; taken out of context; misinterpreted due to language issues, etc.

Well, what I have found instead is . . . silence.  Now surely some conservative Roman Catholic somewhere has opined on the Pope’s comments, but I have searched the usual places, repeatedly, and not found anything.  The usual conservative apologists for Francis are very quiet on this matter.  (And I invite readers to post conservative Catholic blog posts on the topic in the comments.  Like I said, surely they are out there . . . somewhere.)

Now I do not want to call out any bloggers by name or presume motives.  After all, Francis has time and again put conservative Catholic bloggers in awkward positions due to his comments, and they have my sympathy.

But the silence is deafening.  Perhaps this time, Francis has gone beyond what even the most loyal conservative Catholics can defend.  If so, their response should not be silence.  Just the opposite.

For even popes need to held accountable.  And, to be frank, most of the conservative Catholic blogdom seems to be dropping the ball in so doing.

Mayor of Rotterdam Tells Fellow Muslims Who Do Not Appreciate Freedoms of West to…

I was tempted to conclude the above headline, but I wish to avoid naughty language.  Nonetheless, I heartily concur with the Mayor of Rotterdam’s comments.  And that they come from a Muslim is so much the better.

Appearing on live television just hours after the shootings, Mayor Aboutaleb said Muslims who 'do not like freedom can pack your bags and leave'.

Labour politician Ahmed Aboutaleb, a former journalist who was appointed mayor of the Dutch city in 2008, is known for his straight-forward stance on integration.

The 53-year-old won the praise of London-mayor Boris Johnson over his comments last week, attacking fellow Muslims who move to Western nations and refuse to accept the way of life. 

'It is incomprehensible that you can turn against freedom,' Mayor Aboutaleb told Dutch current affairs program Nieuwsuur (Newshour).

'But if you don't like freedom, for heaven's sake pack your bags and leave.

'If you do not like it here because some humorists you don't like are making a newspaper, may I then say you can f*** off.

'This is stupid, this so incomprehensible. 

'Vanish from the Netherlands if you cannot find your place here. 

That so needs to be said, not just in the Netherlands and not just to Muslims.  The West, including the U. K. and the U. S., is being greatly undermined by various groups who appreciate neither the cultures nor the freedoms of their host countries and even act in opposition to them.  Such people need to be told in no uncertain terms where they should go.  

I best not expand on that (for now) lest I get on a really good rant.

Yes, I have had enough.  I am glad to see I am not the only one.

“Embarrassing the Nation He Leads”

I am embarrassed to be an American this morning.  A remarkable number of world leaders join over a million people to march against terrorism in Paris.  . . . And, thanks to Obama, America is AWOL.  The highest official the Obama Regime sends to participate is the U. S. Ambassador to France Jane Hartley.

And even her presence is embarrassing:

“The highest U.S. official at the march yesterday over there was the U.S. ambassador over there who was a big Obama donor who got that job in part because of her contributions to President Obama,” New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin observed.

Those appalled include Democrats and even some in the news media.

As for me, I am at a loss.  This is a day of shame for America.

Oh, that quote in the headline?  It is from self-professed Lefty Democrat Rick Ungar.

But I guess everyone is just quibbling.

The JV President – Reminders Before Tonight’s Speech

An election is near; Democrats are on the ropes; Obama’s numbers are punk and perhaps sinking; bombing ISIS polls well; and did I mention an election is near?  It does not take a political scientist to predict what Obama will do in tonight’s speech.  He will beat the war drums against ISIS.  He knows ISIS is rightly hated, and that Americans tend to rally around their president against a hated enemy.  And Obama and Democrats need all the political help they can get right about now.

Don’t get me wrong.  I think we should bomb ISIS to Hell.  But we should also remember Obama’s past negligence concerning ISIS.  So I present some brief reminders.

Obama was warned a year ago that ISIS was a serious threat.  His response?

…The president chose not to act, the source said. Nor did he request additional information on activities of ISIS including in his daily briefing.

And since then (until recent days), he has done little except deride them as “JayVee”.

Obama will surely try to distract from that.  He has already lied about that.  But he has already failed concerning ISIS.  And we would be foolish to forget that.

Indiana Churches Vandalized With Islamist Graffiti

If you think tagging Christians for terror and destruction is an ISIS thing, think again.  Three Columbus, Indiana churches have been tagged with “infidels” and “Qur'an 3:151”.

The lovely said verse may be translated thus: “We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allah of which He had not sent down authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.”

Now to their credit, the Islamic Society of Columbus, Indiana has denounced the vandalism, and Muslims have offered to clean it up. 

But only the naïve think there are not Islamonazis among us.  And no telling what is coming across our Southern border.  But concern about that is racist, don’tcha know.
