A Reminder: Franken Stole His Way Into the Senate

With Al Franken widely expected to announce his resignation from the U.S. Senate today, now is a good time to remember that he should never have become a Senator in the first place.  He, George Soros, felons, and an army of DemocRATS stole his first “election” in 2008.

To the annoyance of some, I covered this back then.  One can find a sample of that here.

It is interesting that in all the TV news coverage I’ve seen so far, I cannot remember his first “election” to the Senate being mentioned as even controversial.  That is a bit important concerning his background, is it not?  If one is such a cretin to subvert democracy by stealing an election, one is capable of just about anything . . . including stealing sexual favors.

Elections have consequences.  Stolen elections have worse consequences.  Al Franken is surely Exhibit A in that regard.

Obamacare, Bribery, and Election Fraud

Democrats got Obamacare past the 60 vote barrier in the Senate in the wee hours of the morning overnight. Funny how thieves like to operate at such hours. They succeeded thanks to brazen bribery and election fraud. Yes, election fraud

Without the fraudulent “election” of Al Franken, of Tim Johnson and Mary Landrieu in their first elections, and the illegal first election of Frank Lautenberg in New Jersey, the Democrats could not have gotten their 60 votes.

Elections matter. . . . And sometimes election fraud matters more.

Wall Street Journal Agrees: Franken Stole the Election

For those who think me “extreme and offensive” for insisting that Franken stole the Minnesota U. S. Senate election, then I guess you consider The Wall Street Journal extreme and offensive as well:

The unfortunate lesson is that you don't need to win the vote on Election Day as long as your lawyers are creative enough to have enough new or disqualified ballots counted after the fact.

Mr. Franken trailed Mr. Coleman by 725 votes after the initial count on election night, and 215 after the first canvass. The Democrat's strategy from the start was to manipulate the recount in a way that would discover votes that could add to his total. The Franken legal team swarmed the recount, aggressively demanding that votes that had been disqualified be added to his count, while others be denied for Mr. Coleman.

But the team's real goldmine were absentee ballots, thousands of which the Franken team claimed had been mistakenly rejected. While Mr. Coleman's lawyers demanded a uniform standard for how counties should re-evaluate these rejected ballots, the Franken team ginned up an additional 1,350 absentees from Franken-leaning counties. By the time this treasure hunt ended, Mr. Franken was 312 votes up, and Mr. Coleman was left to file legal briefs.

What Mr. Franken understood was that courts would later be loathe to overrule decisions made by the canvassing board, however arbitrary those decisions were. He was right.

The Journal’s conclusion:
Mr. Franken now goes to the Senate having effectively stolen an election. If the GOP hopes to avoid repeats, it should learn from Minnesota that modern elections don't end when voters cast their ballots. They only end after the lawyers count them.

Now The Wall Street Journal saying something doesn’t necessarily make it so (although this editorial is indeed accurate and on target, and I could add more detail). But they are deservedly well respected and hardly an extremist publication. If they are so convinced Franken stole the election, that should at least get the attention of those who care about democracy.

Franken Steals Another Senate Seat for Democrats

As expected, Al Franken has succeeded in stealing another Senate seat for the Democrats. Yes, I am being a bit dogmatic there. There is no question in my mind that Franken took this seat not because he received the most votes but because Democrats aggressively and unethically gamed the vote recount, the will of the voters be damned.

And, no, I will not leave the issue of election fraud alone. With the Senate seats already stolen, with Obama and ACORN gaming the Census, and with God-knows-what the Democrats will try to pull in the next two elections, in addition to blatant disregard of the Constitution, we are in danger of having a government without a shred of legitimacy after the next two elections.

I am not predicting that. I expect voter anger will overcome the Democrats’ electioneering in 2012 if not 2010. But with the Democrats being so successful in stealing elections and so willing to do so and now having the added tool of the Census, it is a danger.

Like I said, I will revisit this issue.

Minnesota Frankenfraud Recount Unconstitutional?

This legal argument is to the point – counting one county’s votes differently than another county’s (and thereby treating Franken votes with blatant favoritism) violates the Equal Protection Clause as upheld in Bush v. Gore (2000). Votes in statewide elections must be given equal weight across the state, not “value one person's vote over that of another.” And the Minnesota recount has certainly not met that standard.

I fail to see how any reasonable person can argue with that. Whether such legal common sense and democratic fair play prevails is another question.
