This post brings back memories of college. Whenever the celebrant used "Prayer C" (our regular prayer was D), the organist would very quietly (as quiet as is possible on an organ) play the beginning of the "Star Trek Theme" and the acolytes would start up with "doo, doo, doodoodoodoodum, da, da, da,dadadadade..."
Very funny at the time. Of course, now I am appalled that I ever made light of the Eucharist but I was young. That's why I prefer 1928 (or REC 2006) which prayers do not "inspire" such levity.
