“I was told I’d already voted, but I hadn’t”

A former GOP official had an *interesting* voting experience this morning:

When the NRCC alumnus arrived to vote at his polling place in Alexandria this morning, his attempt to cast a ballot was rebuffed by election officials: "I got inside, they set me up, I gave the woman my ID, and I told her my address.  She said, 'it seems you've voted absentee.'  Then she realized she'd read the sheet wrong. 'No, it says here that you've already voted,' she told me.  I hadn't even applied for an absentee ballot, nor did I vote early. As hokey as it sounds, I was excited to vote in person. I had absolutely not voted earlier that day. I arrived four minutes after they opened.  Basically, I was told I'd already voted, but I hadn't."

It certainly appears someone used his identity to commit vote fraud and cast a ballot in his name.

But surely not.  Election fraud is not a problem, remember?

OUTRAGE: Many ballots not reaching our troops in time.

The Obama Administration has moved heaven and earth to enable vote fraud by stopping the enforcement of state Voter ID laws.

But have they fulfilled their basic obligation to get ballots to our troops?  Not so much:

One day ahead of the election, Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sent a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to express their concern over delays in ballots reaching military voters overseas.

“We write to express concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense (DoD) to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” the letter stated.

Mail redirection in the military can take between 14 to 50 days, meaning a ballot could reach the voter possibly more than a month after ballots have to be mailed back in order to be counted. The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) identified problems with the system after the 2010 election, but hasn’t implemented changes.

And here are a number of reports of troops not getting ballots.

So these men and women are putting their lives on the line for us.  But the Obama regime can’t be bothered to be sure to get ballots to them? 

This is beyond an outrage.  And it is not the first time Democrats have disenfranchised our troops.

Looking Inside the Battleground Poll

I am heartened by the Battleground Poll out this morning.  Yes, the tie at 47 seems nail-bite worthy at first.  But look inside.

Independents are Romney 47 – Obama 32.  Apart from massive vote fraud, I can’t see how Obama can overcome that.

And those most likely to vote lean to Romney, which I consider more important than the tie at the poll’s top line:

The potentially more important number is a combination nationally of those who have already voted and those who call themselves “extremely likely” to vote. Romney leads this group by 3 percent, 51 percent to 48 percent.

And remember that early voters tend to be more Democrat.

BREAKING: Election Watchers Kicked Out of Philly Voting Places UPDATED: Judge Rules for Watchers

In direct defiance of election law, Democrat election judges have kicked out GOP Election Watchers in several Philadelphia locations this morning.

The Philadelphia GOP is reporting that court appointed Minority (read GOP) Inspectors are being thrown out of polling locations in several Wards.

….

These Inspectors are election officials – again, court appointed — and are reportedly being thrown out by the Head Judges of Elections (these Judges are elected Democrats).

This has happened at the following locations:

Ward 32, Div 13

Ward 43, Div 14

Ward 56, Div 1

Ward 56, Div 22

Ward 32, Div 28

Ward 12, Div 17

Ward 39, Div 1

Ward 24, Div 9

Ward 18, Div 25

Ward 43, Div 14

Ward 20, Div 1

Ward 6, Div 11

Meanwhile there are reports the Black Panthers are back.

UPDATE: A judge has ordered the election watchers get to go back to the voting places.  And sheriff’s deputies may assist them.

Just what do those Democrat election judges have to hide anyway, hmmmm?

Election Fraud. It’s Happening.

If anyone tells you that election fraud is not a problem, they are either benefiting from election fraud or committing it.  It is happening, and it is a big problem.

Putting aside past elections, it is happening in this election.  Just one example: a Nevada union has been registering non-citizens to vote and perhaps threatening them as well if they don’t vote correctly.

What worries me even more are the numerous reports of touchscreen voting machines turning Romney votes into Obama votes.  I do not know if this is intentional fraud, but I wonder how many people do not carefully double-check their votes and are having their Romney votes miscast.

Now excuse me for shouting.  PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR VOTES.   Thank you.

I stand by my prediction that Romney will win and that it will not be that close.  But what if it is close, very close, and the election is stolen or there is at least widespread perception of it being stolen?

With our divisions, the last thing we need is an illegitimate President.  

Lord have mercy upon us.

“Voting’s the best revenge” vs. “Love of country”

Obama has just had another moment when he’s departed from the teleprompter and let the mask down.  And I think it will sink him.  He exhorted a crowd in Springfield, Ohio not to boo, but to vote, for “voting’s the best revenge.”

Romney and his campaign have alertly jumped on this.  And the result is an ad that I think will move the election.

Something just about all people hate about our current politics is how divided we have become.  Obama has just firmly put himself on the wrong side of this and Romney on the right side.

I stand by my semi-infallible prediction.  Romney will win.

“Every Freakin’ Day for the Last Four Years Has Been an October Surprise.”

For some months, I’ve been thinking about posting a litany of the lawless outrages of Obama in order to put his term in perspective.  But I realized that is like writing my own personal Bible concordance; I neither have the time nor the energy.

Then I thought surely someone will do that thankless task, and then I will direct my readers to that great work.  But I have seen no such work . . . until now.

A certain Zombie, no doubt with the endless energy that comes from being undead, has ventured to make a “complete list of Barack Obama’s scandals, misdeeds, crimes and blunders.”  And he’s off to a very good start at least.

Here are some highlights, or lowlights if you will:

Invariably and intentionally misquotes the Declaration of Independence in speeches, leaving out the words “by our Creator” in the famous passage “…are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,” which Obama always recites as “…are endowed with certain unalienable rights.”

$6 trillion in new national debt under Obama…after he promised to decrease the deficit.

Illegally ending the welfare-to-work requirements passed by Congress.

In a primary debate against Hillary Clinton in 2008, Obama said he would never force people to buy health insurance, since those without it couldn’t afford to buy it. Less than two years later, he rammed through Obamacare, which does indeed force people to buy health insurance.

Blocked continued construction of the Keystone Pipeline, thereby intentionally reducing energy resources for the US and forcing Canada to sell more of its oil to China.

When states tied to stop election fraud with voter ID laws, Obama sued to prevent them from doing so.

And there is so much more.  Kudos to our undead friend for reminding us how important it is bring this horrifying regime to an end.

I prayed the Litany this morning and urge my readers to pray and work (and vote) as if America depended on it. . . . because it does.
