What's the big deal. Just follow tradition and remove it by Candlemas (Feast of the Presentation, Purification of the Virgin Mary) which is on February 2.
We still have the Creche and the Advent/Christ Candle up at our Parish and will until Candlemas.
(Note, when there is an early Easter-and thus early "gesimas" of pre-lent, you should consider removal by then-but this year we have a very late Easter and thus the "gesimas" are way into February).
See the Following poem:
"Down with the rosemary, and so Down with the bays and mistletoe; Down with the holly, ivy, all, Wherewith ye dress'd the Christmas Hall"
— Robert Herrick (1591–1674), "Ceremony upon Candlemas Eve"
hahaha ~ well if it makes you feel any better, ours is still up as well.
